They’re back.
Lanvin is set to make a formal return to the Paris Fashion Week calendar in late January 2025, debuting a collection from the recently appointed Artistic Director, Peter Copping. The collection promises to telegraph what Jeanne Lanvin called le Chic Ultime, featuring both mens and womens ready-to-wear collections.
Copping is a Central Saint Martins graduate, beginning his career at Sonia Rykiel before spending over a decade at Louis Vuitton alongside Marc Jacobs. He most recently served as the Head of Couture at Balenciaga where he directed the brand back into the couture space.
Founded in 1889, Lanvin is the oldest continually operating couture house in France. In 2022, they shifted to re-establishing the le Chic Ultimate ethos, guiding a newly imagined maison.
Paris Fashion Week is set to run from January 16th to 21st, although Lanvin’s show date is yet to be announced.
