Labrum and Guinness Evoke Memories with Collaborative Furniture Collection

In the Spirit of the Game.

Guinness and Labrum are paying tribute to familial memories with a collaborative furniture collection held exclusively at Labrum’s Carnaby store.

Serving as portals to cherished memories, the collection includes printed fabric over sofas, a checkerboard, mirrors and lamps. Imagined to represent the joyous atmosphere of Foday Dumbuya’s grandmother’s kiosks, the collection embraces the spirit of connection.

Central to the collection is the signature zigzag pattern seen on the legs of the furniture. This pattern isn’t just an aesthetic decision but represents a visual metaphor for continuous movement through generations. “The zigzag pattern, for me, is more than just a design element. It’s a symbol of connection, of cultures flowing into one another and creating something new. It’s about the way ideas, traditions, and people come together to shape the future while honouring the past,” said Dumbuya.

The installation is running at Labrum’s Carnaby location until March 23rd. Check out the imagery below.
