Celebrating the Release of G-DRAGON’s Album Übermensch.
Gentle Monster have once again collaborated with K-Pop icon G-DRAGON, this time to commemorate the release of his highly anticipated new album, ‘Übermensch’. The brand has unveiled two bespoke eyewear designs crafted exclusively for the influential artist.
The eyewear, aptly named ‘Übermensch’ after the album title, showcases the brand’s signature imaginative aesthetic, incorporating elements that resonate deeply with G-DRAGON’s personal style.
One of the key design features is the use of daisies, G-DRAGON’s favourite flower. Gentle Monster has reimagined this motif in their distinct and unconventional way, integrating it into the frames themselves. Adding another layer of artistry to this collaboration is the special packaging accompanying the custom eyewear. The pieces are presented in a striking golden hand-shaped case, a direct nod to G-DRAGON’s penchant for elaborate nail art and his collection of fashionable accessories, further emphasising the personalised nature of the collaboration.
This isn’t the first time Gentle Monster and G-DRAGON have joined forces. The artist has long been a supporter and collaborator with the brand, known for his daring and experimental eyewear choices, often sporting Gentle Monster frames that perfectly complement his avant-garde style.
