Celebrating the Boundless Energy of Youth.
Zomer unveils its Spring/Summer 2025 campaign, “Children of the Sky,” shot by renowned photographer Viviane Sassen, on the scenic landscapes of the Kenyan coast. The is a poetic exploration of youth — a key theme of the brands’ SS25 collection, movement, and the powerful connection between humanity and nature.
The campaign stars models Lauryn Alfreda and Aliai Kawac Makuei, styled by Imruh Asha, with the artistic vision brought to life by Lina Kutsovkaya of BeG00d Studios. The imagery is rich with atmosphere, immersing the audience in sweeping seascapes, sun-drenched beaches, and the intriguing shadows of the coastal jungle.
Each frame captures a sense of joy, from playful scenes of young acrobats forming human pyramids against the horizon to dreamlike compositions where bodies are draped in sculptural florals and shimmering fabrics. There’s a palpable emphasis on silhouette and gesture, with poses that feel natural and spontaneous.
The colour palette of “Children of the Sky,” is a symphony of fiery reds, tropical yellows, lush sea greens, and deep night-sky blues. These hues not only reflect the garments themselves but also echo the stunning natural environment in which the campaign is set, creating a seamless visual harmony.
Zomer’s signature design elements, including exaggerated proportions and painterly prints, are evident throughout the collection. The clothes appear light, expressive, and full of movement – featuring voluminous skirts, flowing trousers, and cocoon-like dresses that capture the light beautifully under Sassen’s expert eye.
