A$AP Rocky is no stranger to ERL, but this time he has gone harder. For the “Shroom Clouds” video, the rapper stepped out in a pair of angel wings, a fur-lined trapper hat, and shearling crutches, all designed by Eli Russell Linnetz in Venice Beach, according to the label.
The pairing goes back a few years. Linnetz dressed Rocky in an upcycled quilt for the 2021 Met Gala, then made him a one-off outfit for Lollapalooza in 2022, which ERL said at the time was not a collection preview. This latest look continues a busy stretch for the label, which also dressed Charles Melton and Ali G in custom pieces within the past ten days. There’s no price or retail date for the wings or crutches, so for now they stay in the custom lane, a fitting next chapter after Rocky’s recent run of Puma and Ray-Ban moments.
