This season Kris Van Assche brings us a collection that is both functional and fashionable.
A youthful change from his work for Dior, the pieces convey a relaxed attitude you may normally associate with sportswear. Boxy jackets were seen paired with baggy trousers for effortless style, pulled together with crisp white shirts.
Marl grey, tan, black and burgundy were key colours, but it was the black and white herringbone print that we loved the most. Monochrome is a saviour: easy to wear, these herringbone pieces can easily be blended in to your existing wardrobe. These predominantly tonal shades were brought to life with pops of colour using colourful applique, and bright pixilated prints.
Whether it’s a blue tailored suit for a business lunch, or a long mackingtosh coat for your cold daily commute, Assche is the first point of call for every occasion. This is no doubt a name we will be hearing more of in the future.
