Get the look: Blow dry hair with a round ceramic brush. Create volume by lifting the hair in an upwards direction and then working the mid length and ends by rolling the brush in circular movements. Style into place using your fingers, serum and hairspray.

Get the look: Section hair for the plaits as desired. Begin to plait from the hairline towards the crown. Try straight plaits, or if you are feeling creative, put your hand to different shapes. Secure ends of plaits with a small bobble. Apply gel all over the plaits to fix them in place and slick down any loose strands. Use gel on the sides to smoothen it down.

Get the look: Take two small sections on either side of the head; these will be used to plait from the mid head down to hairline, back up to the crown, creating the plaited parting. Brush the remaining hair back and tie into a man bun. Use hairspray and gel for hold.
