Japanese brand ASICS has unveiled its latest collaboration with UK retailer size?, a lavender rework of the classic GEL-Kayano silhouette.
The original GEL-Kayano shoe was launched way back in 1993 and was inspired by a beetle’s exoskeletal strength, which is visible right down to the horn-like sole details. A unique framework reinforces the upper and covers a Coolmax lined mesh. The contoured, dual-density midsole, flex-grooved outsole, and visible Theta GEL rearfoot cushioning feature alongside a porous P-GEL in the forefoot, making this one of the most comfortable options in the ASICS catalog.
For the collab, the shoe received a lush lavender refit, with traditional premium suede and the iconic caging around the upper.
The limited-edition ASICS x size? GEL-Kayano Lavender drops May 6 online and in size? stores for $154.
Also, Packer Shoes recently draped the GEL-Kayano in a “Triple Red” colorway.
Playful staples are the ready.
Stussy is always known to drop fresh tees to rock during summer and this summer sees Stussy bring out more bright and colourful pieces. The Summer 2016 collection features simple Stussy tees with logo branding in different colourway options. We at PAUSE would rock the pink colourway, but black is always a must-have. The collection also features tailored shorts, a range of hats and washed-out denim baseball cap.
Stay tuned for the release at select retailers including size? and Selfridges.
