The man bags are out and the trousers are bigger than ever! Bottaga Veneta brings us the Spring/Summer 2017 collection at Milan Fashion Week.
Designer Tomas Maier collates a collection of oversized trousers, shirts and sleeves. The whole collection cries out the Forties. Where the colours are dull and lack excitement, Maier makes up for it in the details of the garments. We are given crinkled cotton, patchwork pockets and panels and many metal studs. This reworking into traditional tailoring has given the collection a point of focus alongside the addition of a large variety of bags and the classic two-tone shoes
