Themes of travel and modernity were explored through Salvatore Ferragamo SS17.
Renowned for their Italian craftsmanship and gentleman-like attire, Salvatore Ferragamo unveiled a collection inspired by the ever increasing travel trend – updating and modernising classic pieces whilst ensuring they retain their sartorial aesthetic.
Showcasing the Italian take on athleisure, Salvatore Ferragamo SS17 included relaxed tailoring, textured jackets and an array of sheer and luxe fabrics. The collection ensures an air of sophistication and refinery whilst attending to the modern male adventurer through a military and somewhat more practical element. In the midst of their ‘old meets new’ movement, the staple Ferragamo Tramezza shoe was transformed by a wave of contemporary leather, almost mimicking today’s popular footwear choice: the sneaker, providing us at PAUSE with their far more elegant offering.
