Feast your eyes on Fieg’s BAPE collaboration, repped by Joey Bada$$.
You’d be forgiven for feeling slightly overwhelmed after the KITHLAND fashion experience that took place on Tuesday. Ronnie Fieg’s NYFW debut enlisted the help of creative director Nate Brown, who has designed concerts for the likes of Beyoncé and Kanye West, to give the audience much more than your standard runway show. Choosing to premier KITH’s yearly offerings, including multiple collaborations, in nearly 90 looks is a lot for anyone to take in. Now with time to reflect and social media posts to review, featuring the Ronnie Fieg x A Bathing Ape “Fiegsta” (an adaptation of BAPE’s Bapesta sneaker) we get a first look at the complimenting apparel range.
Seen here on rapper Joey Bada$$, an appropriate choice for the New York-based brand, the collaboration includes t-shirts, hoodies, and a New Era cap. An essentials collection branded with Ronnie’s “Fiegsta” tag and BAPE’s camo print, the range is a perfect balance of the two brands. Anyone speculating whether BAPE could make their Bapesta’s cool again, they’re off to a good start as we see them done up in supple suede and neutral tones.
The collection is available from September 17th, with more information available on the BAPE website.
Expect to hear a lot more from KITH with collabs with adidas, Bergdorfs, and more set to be previewed soon.
