A closer look at the SS18 collection plus collaborations with Mackintosh & George Cox.
Returning this season with an extensive collection on the back of a LVMH nomination, ALYX SS18 fuses classic British style with creative director Matthew M Williams’ California roots.
The staple ALYX buckle closures are featured on pants, shirts and bags throughout the season in addition to ALYX-style twists on traditional British fisherman sweaters and smart-casual shorts.
Quintessential military accents and detailing appear throughout the looks keeping to the tech-style that Williams’ brand is known and loved for. A number of garments and accessories have been created for a unisex audience with a collaboration with Mackintosh being pivotal to the season.
The Mackintosh collection features handmade jackets fabricated with their archetypal rubberised fabrics in addition to dry bags and rollercoaster belts. ALYX has also worked with George Cox in this Spring/Summer collection on a pair of white fur and silver studs boots.
