As the Resort collections for 2019 continue to arise, Olivier Rousteing, current Creative Director of Balmain, offers a huge variety of vibrant stand-out pieces for the Parisian fashion house. The collection features items we have come to expect such as distressed shredded-jeans, ‘Balmain-branding’ heavy tees and a wide range of overdyed denim garments.
The Resort 2019 collection is a far cry from many other brands’ previous seasons’ minimalist approach to their menswear collections, with many items boasting metallic features and studded accents. Olivier Rousteing supports the capsule with his strong belief that in his view, not only does the collection reflect his personal tastes but the offering is inspired by how he “sees [his] generation dressing today”.
