Advancing from their “Hi-Tech” relaunch, Polo Ralph Lauren has released information on a brand new capsule, containing one-of-one pieces in its entirety. Produced from hand-sourced vintage Polo pieces, the collection will feature a military-inspired motif. Through deconstruction and reconstruction, assembled by the New York-based design team, each garment is then turned into a unique piece in a small factory in Brooklyn.
The capsule comprises six silhouettes including three forms of shirts- Oxford, Military and Rugby- as well as a series of Army and Bomber jackets with military trousers. Complementing the apparel, a messenger bag and bucket hat will also release. Other mentionable features include exclusive tie fabrics and Polo patches, while all other pieces can be customised with extra pins and patches.
Available exclusively at a special pop-up in Selfridges, this upcycled capsule will run from the 7 September to the 21 September.
