Typical Raf.
Design legend Raf Simons recently said, in an interview with The Guardian, “I’ve never defined myself as a fashion designer.” This comes with the news of him designing textiles for Fabric company Kvadrat, his plans to open an art foundation and the announcement of him opening a cafe to display the furniture he has designed. How the Belgian designer still has time to create incredible clothing is hard to imagine, however, he manages it.
In this case, Raf uses one of his signature methods: deconstruction, to produce a black jacket that appears raw and unfinished. The £4.676 garment has a mish-mash of materials overlapping themselves on the mid-length coat.
