Taking over Barbican Estates.
Vivienne Westwood just unveiled the fashion houses latest Autumn/Winter 2019 collection campaign, honouring London’s Barbican Estate’s 50th birthday.
Shot by renowned photographer, Juergen Teller, the campaign draws inspiration from Greek mythology as well as the London Symphony Orchestra, a constrast to the collections bold punk and glam rock inspired garments. Highlighting stand out pieces including a floral puffer jacket, grey and blue checked trousers detailed with a red fringing, as well as an oversized green floral two-piece, models including Westwood and her partner Kronthaler are captured holding pitchforks, scythes and other historical items usually synoymous with Greek mythology.
