By May 5, 2020Fashion News

An amazing achievement.

An exclusive box-logo, featuring original work by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami was released by Supreme on April 24 to create funds for those affected by Covid-19. The charity which the proceeds were donated to, HELP USA, has now confirmed that the streetwear label raised $1,052,040.

The charity works to help youth and families who are facing homelessness. Taking to Instagram to announce how much money was raised HELP USA wrote “ This incredible gift comes in a time of our clients’ greatest need and supports our work nationally to provide the most vulnerable with a safe place to call home, food, and essential services during this crisis and beyond.”

Retailing at $60, the T-shirt is invariably now being resold with a huge mark up. Stock X has sold some of the exclusive box-logo’s for over $1,000 and with it being a collaboration with the renowned artist Takashi Murakami, this will certainly be a collectors piece.
