Kim's Next LVMH Move.

One of the more unexpected moves in the world of luxury fashion design, Fendi recently unveiled the appointment of Kim Jones as Artistic Director of haute couture, ready-to-wear and fur collections for women at the revered Italian powerhouse.

Joining Silvia Venturini Fendi who will maintain her role in menswear and accessories, Jones will add to an already burgeoning output regime while simultaneously holding onto his current position as Artistic Director of DIOR Men. Speaking on the appointment, Bernard Arnault, Cheif Executive at LVMH commented;

“Kim Jones is a great talent and since joining, he has continuously proven his ability to adapt to the codes and heritage of the LVMH houses while revisiting them with great modernity and audacity. At FENDI, I am convinced that his vision and passion will highly contribute to the success of the women’s collections.”

Kim’s first collection will be the label’s Autumn/Winter 2021 ready-to-wear collection showing during Milan Fashion Week in February.
