Forest exploration.
Titled “Ceremony”, the Autumn/Winter’20 collection by Paria Farzaneh was first presented in January at London Fashion Week. The London based designer has now released the collection’s lookbook, highlighting a few key pieces.
Shot amongst a forest, the functional aspects of the designer’s collection are forefronted. Gore-Tex Jackets are fully buttoned-up with hoods up, paired with matching trousers of the same, technical fabric.
Across the pieces, Farzaneh presents her Iranian heritage, a common theme in the designers work, as prints inspired by the West Asian country incorporate themselves into many of the garments. This results in a warmth being brought to otherwise utilitarian garments.
