Coming this week.
Continuing the recent trend of left-of-centre collaborations, fashion staple Lacoste have teamed up with the much-loved video game Minecraft to form real-life pieces as well as a virtual landscape.
The Lacoste x Minecraft collection looks to bring a new set of essentials that help express individual styles and merge worlds together, both physically and virtually. For this range, Minecraft is brought into the real world as a selection of men’s, women’s, and children’s ready-to-wear garments adorn the classic pixelated graphics of the mega-hit video game.
Some key pieces on display in the campaign imagery include a hoodie, button-up polo shirt, pastel t-shirts, shorts, and much more, with each piece combining the unmistakable Lacoste crocodile emblem with Minecraft’s pixelated aesthetic, bridging the gap between the two brands.
In addition to the physical pieces, Lacoste and Minecraft have teamed up for an in-game map titled ‘The Croco Island”- a place in which gamers can rejoice in the collaboration and wear the clothing in-game.
The Lacoste x Minecraft collection will be available online on March 16th, with The Croco Island map already being available in the online version of Minecraft.
