New York born brand Opening Ceremony finds inspiration in the language of food for their Autumn/Winter 2022 collection, unveiling imagery for their latest campaign.

The vibrantly coloured and playful collection takes direct inspiration from the brand’s co-creative director Humberto Leon‘s experience opening the hybridised Chinese-Peruvian restaurant, ‘Chifa’, in LA. The unisex collection features a host of food-related graphics and text, whilst a collaboration with heritage workwear brand Dickies is also teased. The collection features tongue-in-cheek references to waiting staff’s experiences with customers in their first six months working at ‘Chifa’, with ‘CARB FREE’, ‘GLUTEN FREE’, and ‘NO MILK’ text adorning some pieces in reference to common customer requests. Opening Ceremony’s unique stylings continue to run throughout this range, with their signature sweater pocket designs arriving on green and pink t-shirt and crewnecks, with other standouts including a coral-coloured knitted bomber-style jacket, a pink and red ‘Opening Ceremony’ box branded crewneck jumper, as well as a ‘Vegetables & Proud’ hybrid knit t-shirt in green and blue.

Some initially released pieces from Opening Ceremony’s Autumn/Winter 2022 collection are available now via the Opening Ceremony website.
