Dropping in December.
With the untimely passing of the great Virgil Abloh, the legendary designer had an illustrious career and was known for his inhumane productivity, allowing him to have a hand in countless creative outlets. Amongst them was a partnership with Nike that saw him create dozens of sneakers, reimagined through his own lens to create what people considered to be wearable art within the sneaker community. Fast-forwarding to the present, Nike and Off-White have officially unveiled the details of their latest creative venture: the Air Terra Forma.
Set to be formally introduced at Miami Art Week 2022 in a unique four-day experience, the Frankenstein sneaker is packed with little details and design elements throughout, making this a signature Abloh creation. Featuring a mid-cut, the shoe is predominantly made out of a synthetic base with suede panels running along the majority of the upper. Exposed stitching highlights an oversized Nike logo and an asymmetrical, high-cut tongue feature poked-out holes. The midsole sports a range of colourful patterns whilst the aggressive outsole features Nike Air Inner Space technology and spiked bottoms with the words “TREAD LIGHTLY” embossed. The shoes will come in cream and brown colourways.
