Palace & Umbro Reunite for World Cup Season in New Football-Themed Collection

By November 15, 2022Fashion News

Releasing this Week.

Streetwear imprint Palace have joined forces with first-ever collaborators Umbro for a new football-themed capsule collection.

Releasing just in time for Qatar’s 2022 World Cup, Palace and Umbro have turned back time to link up once again as they prepare to drop a curated selection of pieces inspired by various footballing reference points. Having most recently teamed up with the likes of Y-3 and Gucci, Palace are continuing their collaborative journey with Umbro, dropping a drill top, classic football tops and shorts. Tapping into a signature 90s aesthetic, a period of time in which Palace frequently takes inspiration from, the capsule collection includes five football jerseys, all of which arrive in various patterned designs and “Florida Keys”, “Dahlia Purple”, “Vermillion”, “Neutral Grey”, and “Geranium Pink” colourways. The standout drill top comes in a mixed navy and light blue colourway and features an elasticated rib insert on the neck, collaborative Umbro and Palace branding, as well as monogram ‘P’ lettering across the middle and arms. This piece will also drop alongside a matching pair of football shorts.

The second Palace x Umbro collaboration is set for release on November 18th via the Palace website.
