Exhibiting unreleased sneakers with Nike.
For Miami Art Week, Nike and VA Securities (Virgil Abloh Securities) have teamed up for the ‘Virgil Abloh: The Codes c/o Architecture’ Exhibit that showcases a plethora of creations from Nike x Virgil Abloh – released and unreleased – as well as turntables and stereos. Presented in the Rubell Museum, the exhibition honours the decorated designer’s legacy and his methodological principles, known as Abloh’s Codes, that are said to be applicable to any creative medium and are the foundation for his work with Nike. The four-day experience is co-curated by Alessio Ascari of Architecture – a division of Nike created by Abloh – and serves as a platform for the release of the upcoming Nike x Off-White Terra Forma shoe, the first Nike shoe the ex-Louis Vuitton designer created from scratch.
The ‘Virgil Abloh: The Codes c/o Architecture’ Exhibit will run from December 1st-4th, check out images from the show below.
