A Dose of Portuguese Paradise.
French everyday lifestyle brand Drôle de Monsieur have stepped forward with their latest efforts, unveiling their Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
Inspired by the rich beauty of Portugal, Drôle de Monsieur’s latest creative venture sees the brand channel “One Summer on the Iberian coast- in Portugal”, placing their mission status of “craftsmanship and poetry: when values meet savoir-faire through the work of art” as the collection’s overarching vision. Co-founders Dany Dos Santos and Maxime Schwab bring in shades of “Azul” blue, sunny yellow, greige, terracotta and more, paying tribute to traditional Portuguese earthenware, Azulejo. Some standout Azulejos prints and ornamental patterns elevate the workwear and streetwear influences of the range, with unique pieces including reimagined corduroy carpenter pants, Cuban-collared shirts, as well as a traditional polo.
