Colm Dillane Makes his Mark.
In an unexpected turn, Louis Vuitton have confirmed that KidSuper founder and designer Colm Dillane is set to co-design and oversee Louis Vuitton’s latest Autumn/Winter 2023 menswear collection and display it in Paris next week.
Becoming the first designer to take on a Louis Vuitton menswear release since the untimely passing of the great Virgil Abloh, KidSuper’s Colm Dillane has had a meteoric rise to the top with his New York-founded brand, with this latest creative venture seeing Louis Vuitton once again provide a considerable opportunity to a young designer. Despite this upcoming co-founded collection, Louis Vuitton have confirmed that Dillane has not been appointed the French fashion house’s menswear Creative Director, instead joining the existing LV team to help participate. In addition to this new collection, it has been rumoured that a “world-famous musician star” is set to take the stage with Colm Dillane at Louis Vuitton’s soon-to-arrive Paris Fashion Week show.
The Louis Vuitton AW23′ collection will be displayed in Paris on January 19th.
