The Latest Hybrid Sneaker.
It’s hard to think of a trend that blew up as much in 2022 as the Y2K aesthetic that took over runways and every fashion lover’s wardrobe. To capitalise on this style, Puma has unveiled their latest sneaker dubbed the VELOPHASIS which takes inspiration from 2000s style cues and combines it with the COMPLETE line of shoes made for running.
The asymmetrical mesh upper, textured panels and aggressive shape are reminiscent of retro runners seen back in the noughties but are refreshed with updated, higher-end materials to keep up with the modern landscape. Colourways are also split into 4 categories – Bionic, Phased, PRM and Technisch – each representing a specific look such as the Vaporwave aesthetic with Phased.
The VELOPHASIS Bionic will be available on February 4th with Phased releasing on February 11th. Other colourways will drop in the spring time.
