Providing sneakerheads worldwide with something to look forward to, Montreal-based collective JJJJound and New Balance have teamed up once again for a brand new collaboration.
After their recent collaborative escapades with the likes of BAPE and Reebok, JJJJound are back at it again with their subtle yet effective design style, uniting with New Balance for a new “Grey” 991 UK sneaker. Not straying too far from the winning formula – as seen in the previous 990v3 and 992 releases – JJJJound stick to an earth-toned colour palette with this pair, utilising a faded grey suede for the majority of the upper’s overlays, whilst a lightened version adorns the mesh base. Other key design features include solid black ‘N’ New Balance logos on the lateral and medial areas, light beige shoe laces and midsoles, in addition to standout stitched New Balance 991 tongue branding. Adding their ever-present subtlety, JJJJound branding arrives printed on the insoles as well as the heel area.
The JJJJound x New Balance 991 UK “Grey” will be available to shop via the JJJJound website on February 9th and on the New Balance website on February 17th.
