NMD's Like You've Never Seen Them Before...
Bound to not be everybody’s cup of tea, initial up-close imagery for the Moncler x adidas NMD S1 boot have surfaced and they have been met with mixed responses.
Having previously announced that they were set to come together back in February, showing off a variety of collaborative pieces during their joint show at London Fashion Week, Moncler and adidas make sure to keep the momentum up as initial imagery for the collaborative NMD S1 boot comes to light, with this pair straying far away from what you might expect of an adidas NMD sneaker. Tearing up the NMD rule book, this latest collaborative release sees adidas let Moncler take the creative reigns as a puffy high-top shape makes this pair perfect for each and every terrain and weather, whilst wrap around rope lacing add that extra dose of utility. The all-black boot also features a raised cushioned midsole and an outsole that is similarly designed to Moncler’s signature Trailgrip sneaker, with a hit of Moncler lettering arriving on the heel.
Whilst no release date has been set for this pair as of yet, a 2023 release date is expected. Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
