Coming back with a bang, forward-thinking designer Salehe Bembury continues down his path of luxury as he taps Moncler Genius for a new collaborative collection, bridging the gap between the great outdoors and luxury wear.
After his recent escapades with the likes of Crocs – as well as his previous Moncler efforts – Salehe Bembury continues to dominate the leading luxury Gorp-core trends as he drops off the latest collaborative campaign imagery alongside Moncler Genius, being the French brand’s sub-label. The New York born creative injects his distinct design ethos of utilitarianism into the collection, with the summer-ready campaign imagery seeing the designer look to the 1950s archives for inspiration. For instance, elements of mountaineering and nods to hiking lace themselves throughout this range through a selection of outerwear, footwear, and more, with some standouts including a dark tan collarless puffer jacket adorned with swirled Bembury thumb-print patterning, a ‘Moncler ēquipements’ branded hoodie in green, in addition to matching swirled bottoms. Some additional inclusions see crewnecks, textured beanies, as well as a selection of new Moncler Trailgrip sneakers, which make their mark in a selection of earth-tone colourways.
