Kith’s affinity for the weird and wonderful continues as the retailer-come-clothing brand unveil a new collaborative footwear effort with long-term partners Birkenstock, titled ‘Braided London.’
Going way back to 2019 for the first joint Kith x Birkenstock effort, the love between the pairing continues well into 2024 as the former’s owner Ronnie Fieg takes to social media to share a full look at the upcoming Holiday 2023 release. Moving away from the slip-on efforts of the past, this newest dose of footwear sees the classic London mule receive a braided redesign as an intricately woven butter suede sits effortlessly on the midfoot area, curling all the way around the toe. Additionally, a signature Birkenstock outsole makes its mark alongside tonal shadings as well as a co-branded Kith x Birkenstock metallic buckle strap, with the pairs arriving in brown, tan, and black colourways.
