Nike has called upon the design team at 1017 ALYX 9SM to create two monochromatic takes on the Nike Air Force 1 low.
Powered by Matthew Williams, who recently departed from Givenchy, 1017 ALYX 9SM and Nike collaborations are scattered all over the fashion universe. From eight high-top Air Force 1’s to surgically precise active wear, their garments float through the closets of those who frequent metropolitan areas, whether they’re walking through with a coffee or running past with electrolytes. Their latest work was done on the Air Force 1, a streetwear icon that seemingly won’t die out. The sneakers are constructed with an ultra-premium sail leather upper, and include 1017 ALYX 9SM’s signature lighter cap details and 1017 ALYX 9SM stamped on the lateral heel in gold.
In celebration of the drop, 1017 ALYX 9SM and Nike will be hosting a pop-up at Selfridges London on the first floor from Saturday, December 9th. The sneakers will be exclusively available at Selfridges London on the 9th and the 1017 ALYX 9SM studio official website on December 7th.
