Japanese denim powerhouses Evisu have reconvened with skateboarding legends Palace for another collaborative effort, putting forward a seasonal capsule that reintroduces a classic design.
Striking visual graphics atop heritage silhouettes is a pillar of Evisu’s design language, with this latest instalment of Evisu x Palace following on from the duo’s Spring 2023 collaboration almost a year to the day, bringing dice denim back into the fold. The heritage 1990s design style finds itself spread across several signature retro denim silhouettes, from oversized denim jackets to matching denim jeans, whilst Evisu’s iconic emblem collides with Palace’s name to co-brand collared cardigans, trucker jackets, zip-up hoodies, five-pocket jeans, jorts, t-shirts and more. As per usual, Palace tell a detailed story for their campaign imagery as they enlist Detroit-based musician John FM to traverse his own city in the latest Evisu x Palace garments, with up-and-coming artist Hi-Tech and Palace skater Jamal Smith also starring in the campaign, underlining Detroit’s one-of-one street culture.
The Evisu x Palace Spring 2024 collection will be available to shop via both brands’ websites on April 19th.
