One colour sneakers seem to be here to stay as Japanese label AURALEE link up with the one and only New Balance for two reimagined takes on the new WRPD Runner sneaker.
Dividing the opinions of the sneaker community across the globe, the New Balance WRPD Runner has filled a gap between the old and new as a retro suede and mesh make-up leans towards older stylings whilst a chunky raised midsole unit sits alongside an updated New Balance midfoot emblem to insert an injection of something more modern. Making their debut in two colourways, the AURALEE design touch – which was previously seen through their New Balance 1906R collaboration – is the one colour design scheme as this tonal pair dons a completely beige design, with the second pair following suit in a dark charcoal. Alongside the sneaker, a special-edition shoe box packages up the pair with a hefty dose of collaborative AURALEE x New Balance branding.
