Redefining Luxury Hospitality.
Japanese hospitality startup NOT A HOTEL has tapped NIGO to design its upcoming Tokyo Bay vacation home. Named NOT A HOTEL TOKYO, this exclusive residence promises an unmatched luxury experience.
Located on a cliff with stunning views of Tokyo Bay and Mount Fuji, the retreat is close to Haneda Airport and Tokyo Station. Every detail of the home reflects NIGO’s careful design, from the architecture to the interiors.
Guests will enter through a private tunnel leading directly into the house, where they will be welcomed by a living room featuring vintage furniture from NIGO’s favored designers, Jean Prouvé and Pierre Jeanneret. The spacious dining room and gourmet kitchen are ideal for entertaining, while the dedicated listening room, equipped with OJAS speakers, provides an audiophile’s haven.
NIGO’s playful creativity is evident in the outdoor space, which includes a giant inflatable duck, a signature of his HUMAN MADE brand. The residence also boasts NIGO’s innovative take on the traditional Japanese sleeping pod, identical to those in his own home. Additional amenities include multiple bedrooms, a sauna, gym, wooden bath, and a traditional tea room for peaceful tea ceremonies A towering KAWS statue will crown the property, showcasing NIGO’s passion for art collecting. This luxurious accommodation offers a complete 360º design experience, making it the perfect retreat for guests. Construction is set to begin this fall.
