Good things come in threes.
For Autumn/Winter 2024, Issey Miyake’s iconic Bao Bao bag is reimagined in three graphic, colour-blocked designs. Issey Miyake, known for revolutionising fabric design through craft and technology, first introduced the Bao Bao collection in 2010. Distinguished by its flexible and tessellated constructions, the line continues to reflect the late Japanese designer’s innovative vision even after his passing.
The latest iterations of the bag feature patterns created by combining three overlapping layers – hence the collection’s title, “Tres” (Spanish for “three”). These layers also serve a functional purpose, appearing as a small pocket on the front and a larger one on the back.
The Bao Bao Issey Miyake “Tres” bags are available online and in-store now.
