Canada’s own JJJJound are continuing to feed their adoring followers with more collaborations on the footwear front, taking their minimalist touch to New Balance once again.
It really wouldn’t be a Fall/Winter season with the reintroduction of JJJJound x New Balance, with the ongoing collaborators both maintaining their spots in mainstream sneaker culture for another year. Stepping forward for FW24, JJJJound took to their social media to get straight to the point, showing an up-close inspection of their upcoming New Balance effort. As you might expect, a chunky silhouette stands at the forefront of this capsule, with two light brown/grey and dark brown/black iterations of New Balance’s heritage 993 sneaker being teased with little to no JJJJound branding. Being one the duo’s more predictable entries to date, typical suede overlays spread on top of a sporty mesh base, whilst New Balance’s “Made in USA” label hits the tongue.
