Drake’s NOCTA continue to lead the block colour sneaker wave as their original Hot Step 2 sneaker arrives in a “Mint” edition.
After the regulatory seeding process began to unfold recently, the wider public received a first look at the new NOCTA x Nike Hot Step 2 “Mint” in the hands of many an influencer, with NOCTA’s position in the sneaker community often being elevated by these titans of social media. For this newest release, NOCTA officially confirm that the Hot Step 2 is back, this time around moving away from darker tones – such as the previously released “Black” and “Eggplant” iterations – and into a more pastel direction. The sweet treat of a pair sits pretty atop a “NOCTA” branded hotel pillow – a tongue-in-cheek nod to the classic hotel welcome delicacy – and debuts in a light green “Mint”, which covers the entirety of the shoe aside from the gum outsole. The robust silhouette utilises metallic Nike Swooshes across its side, with riveted texturising, subtle lacing, and a Nike Air midsole unit making sure to stay in line with the familiar stylings of the NOCTA x Nike Hot Step 2.
