Telfar Celebrates the Opening of its First Store in NYC

TELFAR officially opened the doors to its first permanent flagship store in the heart of Soho and Chinatown, New York City. This milestone marks a transformative new chapter for the brand, aiming to redefine the shopping experience and re-energize NYC’s fashion retail scene.

The flagship store is designed to immerse visitors in TELFAR’s world. Highlights include a broadcast desk and LED screen at the entrance, a metal awning displaying TELFAR’s ready-to-wear collections, and a TV studio set into a wall-to-wall cyclorama. The store also features the Bag Bar, an illuminated, floor-to-ceiling installation inspired by a Chinese lightbox menu, showcasing every bag ever produced by the brand. Fans were also thrilled by the debut of the highly anticipated “Shmedium” Shopping Bag.

The grand opening was an all-day celebration coinciding with TELFAR’s upcoming 20th anniversary. Iconic talents such as Teezo Touchdown, Muni Long, Rah Digga, TS Madison, and Lil’ Kim joined founder Telfar Clemens on stage, alongside hosts Gitoo, Ian Isiah, Aya Brown, and others, for a memorable showcase of music and culture.
