Loewe Announces Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez as Creative Directors

After the widely publicized announcement of Jonathan Anderson’s departure from the house of Loewe, concluding an 11-year tenure that had dramatically reshaped the brand’s identity and elevated its status within the luxury fashion world, a flurry of rumors and speculation arose regarding his successors. Now, Loewe has officially confirmed the appointment of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, the acclaimed design duo behind the New York-based label Proenza Schouler, as its new creative directors, effective April 7th.
Loewe’s confirmation, clarifies that McCollough and Hernandez will assume the entire creative responsibility for all of Loewe’s collections, encompassing womenswear, menswear, leather goods, and accessories, thereby marking a new chapter for the historic Spanish fashion house.
