A$AP Rocky and Ray-Ban’s relationship is now underway, with the parties releasing more campaign imagery for Rocky’s “Blacked Out” collection. The capsule follows Rocky being named Creative Director in mid-February.
The collection represents a chronological journey through Ray-Ban’s catalogue, spanning three mega-sized silhouettes. Starting with the Mega Clubmaster, the vintage-looking frame features gold accents along the bridge and bottom half of the frame. Following suit is the Mega Wayfarer and Mega Balorama, reflecting on one of the brand’s most popular frames, and an ode to Y2K trends to come. Both feature the same gold accents, with the Wayfarer offering a blocky aesthetic while the Balorama is a wrap-around frame.
