Asics boarded a plane to London, tapping STORY mfg. to create an eco-conscious variant of their Gel-Venture 6 engrossed in Gingham print.
Known for their slow-made approach to fashion since 2013, STORY mfg. helps Asics blend thoughtful consumption with a similar eye for design in their first sneaker collaboration. The shoe in question arrives in two colourways, boasting earthy brown with clay tones and vanilla, violet quartz respectively.
Overlaid in Gingham, the breathable trail shoe features nostalgic details, all while maintaining a handcrafted appeal. Their standout lacing system features Gingham all over again, double-barreled over a regular set of laces. These statement shoes offer an almost Wizard of Oz appeal, perfectly released right before the warm weather becomes consistent.
Asics and STORY mfg. are set to host a pop-up in London from April 11th to 12th with limited sizes available, before fully dropping on April 13th and 18th. Check out the imagery below.
