Bangkok's Most Stylish Address?

⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑

Officially opening its doors in December 2025, Andaz One Bangkok marks the arrival of Hyatt’s luxury lifestyle brand in the Thai capital, bringing a fresh sense of style to five-star hospitality. Forget the traditional grandeur and polished old-money formality often associated with leading luxury hotels. Andaz prides itself on personal style, contemporary design and a more chic way of doing things.

Situated in a prime spot on Wireless Road, Andaz One is part of the impressive One Bangkok development, which features The Storeys, a shopping and lifestyle mall directly connected to the hotel. With Lumphini Park on its doorstep and the city’s skyscrapers as its neighbours, there’s a real upscale downtown vibe to the location, with giant luxury billboards and the glow of the city lights adding to the buzz.

But it’s not just the location or the fact that everything still feels brand spanking new that makes Andaz One Bangkok interesting. It’s the intricate attention to style throughout the property, something that becomes apparent before you’ve even stepped inside.

Style Starts at the Door

It’s not often that a hotel uniform catches your attention before the building itself, but that’s exactly what happens at Andaz One Bangkok.

Pulling up to the entrance, a super stylish gentleman standing outside immediately catches the eye in an outfit so good that you mistake him for a guest with a great sense of style. But then he opens your car door and greets you. He’s not a guest, he’s a member of staff, and that’s his uniform… impressive. Designed by local Thai fashion brand ASAVA, the uniforms may be some of the most stylish you’ve seen at a hotel. Interestingly, Andaz translates to ‘personal style’ in Hindi, which seems particularly fitting. Aside from the snazzy uniforms, the entrance and ground floor give a glimpse of what lies ahead, upstairs where things get even more stylish.

The hotel’s main lobby is located on the sixth floor, and rather than the usual reception counter against a wall, check-in takes place at sleek Rosso Levanto marble desks arranged in the centre of an open-plan space.

Behind the desks sits Blockwilt, one of the hotel’s most memorable design pieces, a huge, colourful tapestry by Thai textile artist Ploenchan ‘Mook’ Vinyaratn. Stretching across the entire wall, the artwork is made from a mix of woven textiles, recycled yarns, beads and fabric remnants, with abstract patterns inspired by the surrounding neighbourhood. Even the tangled electrical wires seen across Bangkok’s streets can be spotted in the design.

By this point, the hotel’s colour palette can be easily recognised, with shades of crimson, turmeric, terracotta and teal. Designed by Thai studio PIA Interior, the spaces take inspiration from Bangkok’s mid-century architecture, with glossy marble and gold finishes throughout. Panoramic windows look out across the skyline, while the furniture and ambience give the space a distinctly relaxed feel.

A Very Stylish Stay

The rooms and suites follow the same design direction, with a look and vibe that feels closer to a stylish residence than a conventional hotel room. There’s personality in the furniture, colour palette and decorative touches, but comfort isn’t at all neglected.

Like the lobby, floor-to-ceiling windows are a standout feature. Depending on the room, views overlook Lumphini Park or Bangkok’s collection of skyscrapers, with glass towers, interesting architecture and enormous luxury billboards adding to the scenery. There’s something quite enjoyable about looking out over that side of Bangkok, especially from the comfort of a room that’s cosy and well laid out. Selected rooms and suites also come with walk-in wardrobes, seating areas and dining tables, perfect for longer stays, in-room dining or simply relaxing.

For those who judge a room by its bathroom, the bathrooms are equally impressive, with marble walls and floors, gold fixtures, walk-in showers and, of course, more views. Not to forget the BYREDO Eleventh Hour toiletries, a touch that feels entirely aligned with Andaz’s fashion-forward approach to hospitality.

Three Restaurants, Three Very Different Vibes

Dining at Andaz One Bangkok is one of its many highlights, with three restaurants offering very different experiences. Jǐng, the hotel’s Chinese restaurant, has a relaxed setting with cosy interiors and a menu combining classic Cantonese and Sichuan dishes.

Piscari, on the 23rd floor, is a completely different experience. Stepping out of the lift, the change in atmosphere is immediate, with low lighting, opulent decor and a lively energy that makes it feel like an entirely separate destination. Designed by Thai studio Paradigm Shift, the Mediterranean restaurant and bar features an large circular bar beneath a striking ceiling installation, where guests can dine while watching the bartenders at work, alongside a separate table-seating area.

Completing the trio is Andaz Terrace, a more casual outdoor dining spot overlooking Lumphini Park, offering Asian-inspired dishes, afternoon tea and cocktails.

But There's More to It

Beyond the decor, guestrooms and great dining, Andaz One Bangkok also has some impressive communal spaces and amenities, starting with Andaz Lounge on the sixth floor. The colourful, open-plan space features comfortable seating, a grand piano and views across the city. It’s a great spot for coffee, informal meetings or simply spending some time away from your room, with live entertainment on selected nights adding to the social atmosphere. Complimentary refreshments are also available throughout the day, along with evening drinks during Sunset Hour.

The seventh-floor saltwater infinity pool is another highlight, easily one of the city’s most attractive rooftop hotel pools. Open daily until 8pm, the pool also features luxury wooden cabanas overlooking Lumphini Park, making it the perfect place to enjoy the sunset alongside an evening swim. A 24-hour fitness centre, steam room and sauna complete the hotel’s wellness facilities.

A Different Kind of Luxury Lifestyle Stay

What makes Andaz One Bangkok stand out is the style and personality that run through every part of the experience, without compromising comfort and hospitality. That relaxed approach extends to the service too, with none of the stiffness that can sometimes come with traditional five-star hotels, creating a genuinely cool atmosphere overall. It’s a great addition to Bangkok’s already exceptional hotel landscape, while still offering something that feels entirely its own. It’s an address that feels like it should have arrived in Bangkok long ago. Talk about fashionably late, but perfectly timed.

“I love this hotel! What a gorgeous property. I loved absolutely everything about it, from the design and restaurants to the service. I’m completely obsessed with the staff uniforms, and this was one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in to date. Every detail was perfect, from the decor and the comfiest bed to the incredible views and one of the nicest, most stylish hotel robes I’ve seen in a while. Andaz One Bangkok has definitely made the list as one of my favourite hotels.” – Taija-Leorelle (Head of Travel & Hospitality)

A special thank you to Fah for arranging such a lovely stay and to the staff for the warm hospitality.
