Les Benjamins takes on the military.
Istanbul Fashion Week might not be as big as other cities but that doesn’t mean that they won’t deliver exciting fashion in the world of menswear.
Turkish menswear label Les Benjamins presents their Spring/Summer 2015 collection at this season’s Istanbul Fashion Week. The brand was created by Bunyamin Aydin who was influenced by the union and progress during the time of the Ottoman Empire and revolved the collection around the spirit and attitude of that time. That was the reason the collection had a military influence with colour palettes ranging from olive-green, black and navy blue mixed with colorful camo patterns. Tights were layered underneath shorts with a cool utilitarian military look for a street take on military wear.
