Nike continues to keep us wanting more.
The new Nike Breathe collection has brought forward summer-focused performance features to some of their classics this winter. It is the Air Max 1 meets the Roshe Run, in this marriage of trainers. The silhouette of the shoe remains Air Max whilst the material and detailing resembles that of Roshe Run’s and/or the Free Run’s. While both trainers have been stripped to the bare minimal spacer mesh is used to create small breathable panels between the upper materials for increased airflow.
A fit tongue that allows free movement as well as ensuring the foot is secure. The Phylon tooling makes the sole very light. The Air Max Lunar 1 stands on an intricate sole for extra gripping, boasts elastic laces, a soft heel, taped seams, a flecked sole, contrasting eyelets and bright colours. Nike have acknowledged how the mesh fabric has vastly become popular and reinvented some of our favourite trainers. What more could we ask for?
The Nike Holiday 2014 “Breathe” collection will be available online and at select Nike retailers from October 20th.

Nike seem to be on a roll this winter.
Just recently unveiling their “Barkroot” Air Trainer SC just a few weeks ago, they have already readied a follow-up, The SC High PRM. The premium edition of this high top trainer sports a digi-camo print along the tongue and inside panel, suded back panel and a black leather body with some contrasting colours throughout. Colours such as ‘Team Red’ and ‘Hyper Crimson’ accent some key parts of the trainer such as the sole, the air bubble, eyelets and the famous ‘swoosh’. The trainer is very seasonal in terms of colour and materials, and should be a hot pick for sneaker lovers this coming winter.
