After bringing a message of positivity into the Spring/Summer 2016 edition of London Collections: Men while strongly advocating for unity, NEWGEN MEN designer Liam Hodges opted for a series of tangibles pieces, suitable for everyday men and streetwear aficionados in the Spring/Summer 2017 collection.
The Liam Hodges silhouette, a relaxed young man with a penchant for hip hop, punk and folk – yes, all at once – was all about refined jumpsuits while somehow enjoying a little bit of details here and there – think sleeves laces or contrasting patches, for example. Long asymmetric windbreakers followed oversize bomber jackets while statement printed t-shirts were easily combined with pairs of sports-inspired shorts. Also, streetwear clothing calling for diversity, Liam Hodges Spring/Summer 2017 enlightened the reality of London’s crowds by deciding to opt for a streetcasting of models. See by yourself.
