During Paris Fashion Week the Stockholm-based fashion house, Acne Studios, showed their willingness to jump on the Trail sneaker trend via their latest women’s footwear offerings that can be found within their SS19 collection.
Specifically, the sneakers in question take on a silhouette that sees the pair’s midsole climb up on to the lateral side of the sneakers in a zig-zagged shape. However, it doesn’t do this alone as the outsole’s tread also makes its way up to the visible area of the pair where it becomes the most eye-catching part of the shoe. Finally, the multi-textured piece gets reinforced at the upper where it sits beside a bungee cord-inspired lacing system that gets swapped out for velcro when it comes to the sandal version.
