The iconic Japanese fashion designer, Yohji Yamamoto, has famously teamed up with adidas and for the duo’s latest drop they focused on their commitment to tradition, craftsmanship and innovation. To be more precise, Y-3’s Chapter 02 of the label’s Fall/Winter 2018 collection sees Yamamoto signatures, like tailoring, layering, and volume fuse with an autumn-suitable colour scheme that focuses on burnt orange and rust red.
Captured by Angelo Pennetta, the imagery shows off the attention to detail the partners have when it comes to executing a collection, with the footwear offerings giving us the best look. Most notably the streamlined Adizero Runner uses neoprene-and-mesh uppers with responsive BOOST cushioning to create an all-around impressive aesthetic and experience.
