Givenchy Giv 1
A footwear design introduced by Matthew Williams as creative director, the Giv 1 was first debuted in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection and it looks like it’s here to stay. For this season, it is introduced in a green colourway with a sculpted sole unit that features a translucent midsole.
Bottega Veneta Quilt Leather Trainer Roller Skates
A footwear style that I did not expect to cover when I started doing these sneaker round-ups, Bottega Veneta has released a pair of roller skates. Referencing the popularity of roller skating in the 70s and 80s, these retro-infused sneakers are handcrafted in Italy using a smooth cream leather on the upper. Possibly the most luxurious roller skates in existence, they are tagged at a cool £1,565.
