London-born jewellery outfit Hatton Labs have stepped out for the new season with their latest creative entry, putting forward their Spring/Summer 2023 range.
Featuring a host of intricately designed pieces, the newest line-up from Hatton Labs sees the popular accessories brand place its pieces around iconic British playwright William Shakespeare, and in particular this consistent sense of conflict between love and pain that is consistently seen in his work. Titled “Good Night”, the collection blurs the lines between male and female jewellery, with some standouts from the SS23′ collection including a thick yellow tint pearl choker necklace, a floral white and blue pearl choker, as well as a mariner link heart necklace, which acts as a nod to Baz Luhrmann’s iconic film, Romeo + Juliet (1996).
In a statement made about the new release, Hatton Labs stated the following:
“In a time when personal styles are becoming more and more gender non-conforming, where men are becoming further inspired by feminine forms and motifs and women by even harsher male motifs, the exploration and combination of these two parallels is more interesting than to explore and test than ever before. We wanted to reimagine these historically classic feminine iconography styles by reimagining its application in a far more modern, forward-thinking and androgynous way.”
The Hatton Labs SS23′ range is set to be available via the brand’s website sometime later this year.
